Watercolor Courses
Course Content
Francisco's teaching approach emphasizes particular techniques in each medium. In each 15-hour beginners' course in watercolor, he typically teaches 10 to 15 techniques. Examples include: Wet Into Wet, Dry Brush, Sponge, Salt, Spatter, Scraping, Sandpaper, Masking Peel, Alcohol, and Candle Wax. As you learn and practice these techniques, you'll incorporate them into paintings of a variety of subjects.
At Intermediate and Advanced levels, you'll increase your range of techniques and become more adept at using them as you work with increasingly complex and challenging subjects. With Francisco's guidance, you'll develop skill and confidence through practice and experimentation.
