Course Prices
What's Included in Our Prices?
We provide everything you'll need to complete your course, from materials and supplies to aprons and gloves. For details by course, please see our individual Course Descriptions:
For our one-week and two-week courses, you can either stay with us or arrange your own off-site accommodation. If you choose to stay with us, seven nights of accommodation for each week of your course, as well as full breakfast each day, are included in the package prices listed below. The package prices also cover all of our guest amenities. (For a full description of our amenities, please visit our Accommodations page.)
If you stay offsite, you'll pay only the Course Cost listed. Each week of your course includes five classes of two hours each day for Painting, Drawing and Wood Sculpting courses, and three hours each day for our Stone Sculpture Courses.
Off-Season Rates
The prices shown below for our courses and packages are in effect annually from December 1st to May 31st (the high season in Costa Rica). At other times, Off-Season Rates apply. Those rates will be from 10 per cent to 20 per cent below the prices listed, with the lowest rates generally being in the months of September through November.
Please note, the discounts listed below CAN be applied to our regular AND off-season rates.
Available Discounts
ONLY ONE of the following discounts can be used by each student registering. Discounts cannot be applied to occasional sale prices or special promotions.
Group Discounts
When two students register together to take the same course at the same time, we'll apply a 10% discount to each student's total price, including the cost of accommodation if applicable.
For groups of three or more (in courses that have capacity for more than two students), we'll offer you a discount based on the size of your group. Students in groups may be required to share accommodation.
Continuing and Returning Students
If you've taken any of our classes and you choose to take additional classes in any medium, your cost will be 10% less than the listed regular price.
Prices for Individual Classes
As noted on our Art Classes page, the option of taking individual classes over a period of weeks has limited availability. At this time, we haven't set or posted final pricing for those classes. However, as a guide, you can estimate the maximum price per student per class as one-fifth of the one-week course prices listed below. (Lower off-season rates will be applied to individual classes as well.) For further details, including availability and a price quote, please contact us.
